Delete it in the app
- Open LabSense and go to the More tab.
- Tap Delete account, at the bottom.
- Read what will be deleted. If you have LabSense Plus, cancel it in the store first (see Your subscription).
- Type the 4-digit code shown on the screen.
- Tap Permanently delete account.
Your account is deleted straight away, and you’re signed out on every device.
Can’t open the app?
Email support@labsenseapp.com from the email address of your LabSense account, with the subject Delete my account. If you signed in with Apple’s Hide My Email, write from the email address of your Apple ID and tell us so.
Before deleting anything, we’ll check that the account is yours, for example by asking you to confirm from the account’s email address. We then delete it in the same way as the app does, and email you when it’s done. We’ll do this as soon as we can, and within 30 days at the latest.
What’s deleted
Deleting your account permanently deletes:
- your account, your sign-in details and your settings
- every profile on it, including family members’ profiles
- all lab reports and biomarker values, including those imported from Apple Health or Health Connect
- every uploaded file: lab reports, medical documents, food photos and profile photos
- Health Status assessments, scores, survey answers, checkups and the PDFs LabSense made
- your food diary, nutrition goals and supplements
- your notifications, and the sessions on all your devices
- the usage statistics the app sent, including those from before you signed in on your devices
Everything is removed from our database at once, and the files are removed from our storage within minutes. If you signed in with Apple, we also ask Apple to revoke LabSense’s access to your Apple ID.
This can’t be undone. LabSense can’t recover a deleted account.
What’s kept, and for how long
A few copies outlive the deletion for a limited time:
- Database backups are overwritten within 14 days.
- Server logs, which identify you only by a random account ID and never contain health content, are deleted after 90 days.
- Purchase events that the App Store or Google Play still sends after the deletion, for example the renewal of a subscription you didn’t cancel, are kept for 13 months with no link to any account.
- What the AI features cost for your account stays in our records for up to 25 months, with no link to you, as part of our totals.
- Your purchase history stays with Apple or Google, and with RevenueCat, our subscription provider, under a random account ID with no name or email.
- AI providers may keep data sent to them for a limited period for abuse monitoring, as How LabSense uses AI explains.
- Emails you sent to support are kept only as long as we need them to handle your request.
Your subscription
Deleting your account doesn’t cancel LabSense Plus. The App Store or Google Play keeps charging you until you cancel there:
- iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → LabSense → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Google Play → your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → LabSense → Cancel subscription.
Delete some data, keep your account
You don’t have to delete everything:
- A value, report, document, food or supplement: open it and tap Delete.
- A family member’s profile: More, tap the profile, then Delete profile.
- Stored lab report files: turn off Keep original files on our servers in More → Settings. Your digitized results stay.
- Imported health data: More → Health data sync → Remove imported data.
- AI processing: turn it off in More → Settings → AI processing.
